Our Process

Step 1 | Enquiry

Our friendly team will assist with your enquiry.

For residential new builds or commercial projects, please email your plans, specifications and energy report (if available) to info@window-society.com.au and we will provide a free quote.

For renovations, if you don’t have plans, please fill in the form or email us at info@window-society.com.au with the following information:

  • Door/Window Measurement - Width x Height (Approx)

  • Door/Window Type - ie Sliding door, Hinge Door, Awning Window, Tilt & Turn Window etc.

  • Single Glazed or Double Glazed

  • Frame Colour

  • Photos of the existing window if possible

Step 2 | Formal Estimate
Once we receive all of your information and requirements, our team will provide you with a formal estimate.

Step 3 | Place order and Deposit

Once you are ready to proceed with your order, a 50% deposit is required to produce the detailed shop drawings.

Step 4 | Draft CAD Shop Drawings

Once order is placed, we will provide you with Draft CAD Shop Drawings. During this phase you will be able to amend your specifications and check any sizes on site. We recommend this is double checked by your builder or qualified installer to check measure each opening size and window/door size.

Step 5 | Final CAD Shop Drawings

We will amend your shop drawings and submit a finalised shop drawing for your to review and approve.

Step 6 | Formal Sign off via DocuSign

Once we receive confirmation from you or your installer the Final CAD Shop Drawing is approved and ready for sign off, we will send the PDF document via DocuSign to you for formal sign off to proceed to production. 

Step 7 | Production

Once we receive your signed DocuSign PDF your order will be placed into production, and we will send you a confirmation email. The lead time will begin from this date until arrival to site, so please keep a record of your sign off date.

Step 8 | Production Completion & Balance on order

Once your order has completed production, we will contact you via email with completion images of your order prior to packing and shipping. Due to our doors and windows being custom made to size, it is a requirement that the balance on your order is finalised prior to shipping and delivery.

Step 9 | Shipping and Delivery

Once we have received your order balance payment, your order will be placed. Our team will be in touch to confirm your site delivery details and will provide an estimated time of arrival for your delivery.
